I sell bike stuff for less than my basis and do not generate income as a result thereof. I’m recently certain that the amounts involved are relatively de minimus as defined by applicable law. Selling your used bike stuff is not likely to lead to a profitable endeavor, especially with the potential liability under strict product liability law would apply to you.
